What time is check-in?

You may access the property from 4pm onwards until 8pm. 

What if I arrive after the office closes at 8pm?

The keys will be in the back of the door. Please make a note of the location of your property before arrival as no one will be in reception after 8pm on Friday evening.

Is there Wi-Fi on site?

We have Wi-Fi in all the properties including the Bar lounge area. This is supplied via Starlink satelite. All the info on this will be in the folders in each of the properties.

Is the pool open?

Yes, we currently have the pool open every day. 

Is the bar open every night? 

This varies throughout the year.  A weekly itinerary will be put in your property detailing the bar opening times.. 

Is bed linen and towels provided?

We provide all linen in the properties including towels. This however does not include cot linen which we ask you to bring with you when using/bringing a cot.

Are dogs welcome to Hope Barton Barns?

Yes! We accept dogs to all of our properties, with a limit of how many dogs can stay in each property (please read the cottage description on the website). Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times around the courtyards and cottage areas. There is a set charge of £25 per dog to cover additional cleaning and this is payable on departure.

Will I be able to get mobile phone signal at Hope Barton?

You will not be able to get a mobile phone signal here at Hope Barton. A majority of phones nower days have Wi-Fi calling so ensure this is turned on, on your phone so you can recieve calls over the Wi-Fi.

Do all properties have a fridge/freezer/cooker?

All the properties have fridge/freezers & cooking appliances. Fridges do vary in size depending on the property size. Please note: the Beach Hut is an exception to this as it only has a small kitchenette (small bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle & sink).

What supermarkets deliver to Hope Barton?

Sainsburys, Tescos, Waitrose & Asda all delivery to Hope Barton. Please note that staff are not able to sign for deliveries. You MUST be on site to sign for your order.

How long is the walk to Hope Cove?

Hope Cove is not far. It takes approximately 15 minutes on foot to reach the beach. Instead of walking down the road, you can use the National Trust field as a safer alternative.

What if I have a problem whilst staying at Hope Barton?

In the property there is an emergency notice which displays who to call in an emergency. There is also an emergency telephone in the bar lounge area programmed with 3 numbers, Lucy (The General Manager), Emergency staff phone & 999.

What time is check-out?

The check-out time is 10am on the Friday morning. We do have some basic check out guidelines that will also be documented in the property. 

How do I settle my account?

We automatically send this to your designated email address with an itemised bill showing what you have had during your stay. You can pay either over the phone by card or by bank transfer.
