What time is check-in?

You may access the property from 5pm onwards until 8pm. 

 

What if I arrive after the office closes at 8pm?

The keys will be in the back of the property door. Please make a note of the location of your property before arrival as no one will be in reception after 8pm on Friday.

 

How do I order from the on-site shop?

We are currently only offering to bring any groceries/goods to your property (home delivery service). We run a tab throughout your stay so anything you may want, we simply put on the account for you. On your stay, simply dial 0 and the green button and this will call reception.

 

Is there Wi-Fi on site?

We have Wi-Fi in all the properties including the Bar. However we do not suggest you rely on it (for work calls for example) especially during the busy periods on site.

 

Is the pool open?

Yes, we currently have the pool open on a schedualed slot. This is organised in advance and you have an hour slot every other day.

 

Is the bar open every night? 

The bar is not open every night. This varies and is usually only currently open on, Friday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. This is subject to change. 

 

Is bed linen and towels provided?

We provide all linen in the properties including towels. This however does not include cot linen which we ask you to bring with you.

 

Are dogs welcome to Hope Barton Barns?

Yes! We accept dogs to all of our properties, with a limit on how many dogs can stay in each property (please read the cottage description on the website). Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times around the courtyards and cottage areas. There is a set charge of £25 per dog to cover additional cleaning and this is payable on departure.

 

Will I be able to get mobile phone signal at Hope Barton?

You will not be able to get a mobile phone signal here at Hope Barton. Each property has its own telephone that you can make/receive calls on.

  

Do all properties have a fridge/freezer/cooker?

All the properties have fridge/freezers & cooking appliances. Fridges do vary in size depending on the property size. Plesae note: the Beach Hut is an exeption to this only having a small kitchenette (small bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle & sink).

 

What supermarkets deliver to Hope Barton?

Sainsburys, Tescos, Waitrose & Asda all delivery to Hope Barton. Please note that the staff will not sign for deliveries. You MUST be on site to sign for your order.

 

How long is the walk to Hope Cove?

Hope Cove is not far. It takes approximately 15 minutes on foot to reach the beach. Instead of walking down the road, you can use the National Trust field as a safer alternative.

 

 What if I have a problem whilst staying at Hope Barton?

In the property tthere is an emergency notice which displays who to call in an emergency. There is also a emergency telephone in the bar lounge area programmed with 3 numbers, Lucy (The General Manager), John Lapthorn & 999.

 

What time is check-out?

The check-out time is 9am Friday morning. We do have some guidelines we ask of each guest we kindly ask of you to follow in each property regarding Covid-19. 

 

How do I settle my account?

We automatically send this to your email with an itemised bill showing what you have had during your stay. You can pay either over the phone by card or a bank transfer.
