Kind words from our valued guests.

"A fantastic place to escape and relax with beautiful countryside and coastal walks. With very well kept and modern facilities in your choice of barn conversion. The team are attentive and welcoming. Local produce is available and the apple juice pressed from their own orchard is wonderful."

"We love coming here. The weather doesn't matter it's heavenly. The setting is beautiful, nestled in a valley, the walk down to Hope Cove idyllic and the standards kept by the management so high and consistent that it is always a pleasure. It has a gym, tennis court, mini farm, play barn and most importantly an indoor heated pool with sauna. It is also well situated to visit the area of South Hams. We always end up coming back."

"We had a wonderful time at Hope Barton, swimming every day and taking long cliff-top walks in the sunshine. As an experiment we did without a car. Hope Cove is so delightful that it is impossible to get bored. The spring flowers along the roadside banks and the birds, both those you can see and those that you can only hear, are fabulous. We got the bus into Kingsbridge just once but other journeys further afield are possible with a bit of planning. To cut down on food shopping you can buy many basics from the small shop or delicious ready-prepared meals. The Monday night supper is not to be missed."

"Absolutely wonderful location, perfect for families and couples alike.

My wife, my young (14 week old) son and I stayed at Hope Barton in May - we stayed in the Linhay, which was ideal for us, but all of the barns are equally conveniently located.
On site there is a pool, bar, sauna, restaurant facilities, children's play areas - one a fantastic converted barn - and a small selection of farm animals housed in a separate area away from the barns - perfect for children.
The facilities are comprehensive, they provided a cot bed for us, and we had everything we needed to make the week a joy.
Hope Cove is a very short walk away, with two large beaches, a pub, restaurant and a Post Office - and several hotels open for meals if you so wish.
The South West Coastal Path runs through Hope Cove - and so if you're so inclined, there's a huge amount of coastline for you to explore.
Close to Salcombe and to Dartmouth - which are hugely pretty port towns - and within easy driving of Plymouth.
Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time - and will certainly be back later this year!"
