Formerly a barn where the fodder was stored above the animals. They were fed daily from the first floor by way of a shute built into the rear wall. This opening is now a picture window in this beautifully converted two bedroomed cottage with downstairs bedrooms, upstairs lounge and kitchen, giving south facing views over Barton Hill to Bolberry Down, and access to the orchard to the rear.
Throughout there are natural coloured carpets and fabrics in soft colours to complement the beautiful hand-crafted beech kitchen. Much of the remaining furniture is in matching solid beech. The cottage is generously equipped and comes with a range of pictures and ornaments and crockery by 'Emma Bridgewater'.
It has a wealth of exposed beams and natural stonework which all enhance the quality of living in The Talletloft.
