THE HAYLOFT - Stone barn in Lower Courtyard - sleeps 6
First Floor: Lounge with balcony, kitchen/dining area, Sofa bed in lounge.
Ground Floor: Double Bedroom, Twin or Bunked Bedroom. Family Bathroom
As the name suggests this was a hay store with access by external stone steps which now lead to a balcony off the spacious lounge in this beautifully converted two bedroomed cottage with downstairs bedrooms, upstairs lounge and kitchen, giving wide south facing views over Barton Hill to Bolberry Down, and access to the orchard to the rear.
Throughout there are natural coloured carpets and fabrics in soft colours to complement the beautiful hand-crafted beech kitchen. Much of the remaining furniture is in matching solid beech. The cottage is generously equipped and comes with a range of pictures and ornaments and crockery by 'Emma Bridgewater'.
It has a wealth of exposed beams and natural stonework to enhance the barn atmosphere in The Hayloft.
