Facilities for Children
Hope Barton is a haven for children. In addition to all the wonderful local sights, activities and attractions, there is plenty of fun to be had on site.
Outside there is a covered barn with play equipment, swings, slides for smaller children and alongside a separate area for older children with straw bales , swingy tyres.
A recent addition is the Outdoor Play structure with climbing frames, wobbly bridges, tyre swings, a challenge for all ages
Our animal shed has a variety of animals at different times of the year including Jacobs sheep and lambs, pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and all children, and adults, are encouraged to help with feeding and cleaning. Bottle feeding some of our orphan lambs in the lambing season is a great favourite with the younger kids.
A games area with table tennis, table football, childrens and adults library. The childrens video library with over 100 free videos to borrow without charge, all donated by owners with growing families.
Our TV and Satellite system, cabled to all cottages, has over 18 channels to suit all tastes.
